Today I headed down to the Sheraton Harbor Island near the San Diego airport to provide ceremony and reception DJ services for William and Brenda’s wedding. The weather has been really crazy lately and it was scheduled to rain all day. Our couple decided to move the ceremony inside to be on the safe side. We held the ceremony in one room, guests then moved to the foyer for the cocktail hour (they opted not to use the outdoor patio since it was raining), and later were invited into the Catalina Ballroom for the reception. The room looked good with matching linens and chair covers. The centerpieces added some need interest and height. This was a slightly longer event than most (totaling 7 hours of DJ time) so I wasn’t sure how they were going to last. It wasn’t a crazy group but they danced and enjoyed the evening. It turned out to be a fun relaxed group that stayed until the very end. Jason Taylor from Taylor Films captured some excellent video throughout the evening.
