This weekend I was out at the Inn At Rancho Santa Fe. This wedding required tons of work on my part due to four separate locations needing sound. I had to have multiple systems to cover the ceremony on the grass, cocktail hour by the pool, dinner/toasts/important dances outside in the garden, and dancing inside the Azalea Room. A nice unique touch (that I have not seen before) was out at the ceremony they laid out a huge path of actual lavender (instead of using a white runner) and then the flower girl threw the flowers on top of it as she walked down. They continued with this theme naming all of the tables various spices and herbs. Inside the room they had a great looking chocolate cake with more lavender spread all around the base of the cake stand. It really made the room smell great! I used the white “starry” lights to add a little movement up on the ceiling and create some interest in the room for dancing. Tonight I had a great team of vendors with me as Kevin Roche was taking care of the photography and Mia from Red Letter Days helped coordinate the event.
